Pancake Eating Contest 

​The contestants in the CNY Maple Festival Pancake Eating Contest in Marathon, New York will be eating pancakes for the not-for-profit organization that is sponsoring them.  Sponsors are raising money by soliciting pledges for every pancake their entry will eat at this year’s contest which will take place in the Marathon High School Auditorium, 9 a.m. on April 18th.  In fact, the CNY Maple Festival makes a pledge to each not-for-profit organization ($2) times the number eaten by their contestant.  “It is our way of giving back to all those who have supported our Maple Festival” said Paige Parker and Josh Ensign the Co-Chairs of this year’s Maple Festival.  “It is a fun way to do something good for someone or something else.​​​
